  ICCN 2015 at Vancouver Top

The Asian Oncology Nursing Society (AONS) executive committee attended the ICCN 2015 at Vancouver. They met Stella Bialous and Greta Gumming, President and Immediate Past President of ISNCC, to discuss further strengthening collaborations between two organizations via signing MOU. The ISNCC also invited AONS to host the AONS International Partner Joint Session at ICCN 2015. The theme of the session is "Educational needs of nurses in advancing cancer nursing research." Mrs. Swapna S. Joshi from India presented her topic title, "Educational preparation for Indian nurses in advancing cancer nursing research: opportunities and challenges," whereas Prof. Kuei-Ru Chou from Taiwan presented "The Use of Randomized Controlled Trials in Advancing Cancer Care Research in Taiwan," and the session was well-received by the conference delegates.

  ISNCC Immediate Past President received 2015 International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame Award Top

The AONS congratulates Prof. Greta G. Cummings, ISNCC Immediate Past President for receiving the 2015 International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame award at the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International's 26 th International Nursing Research Congress on July 25, 2015!

The International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame recognizes nurse researchers who have achieved significant and sustained national or international recognition and whose research has improved the profession and the people it serves. Please access the following website for more information.
